Privacy Notice

This notice explains what Atlas Fitness collects when you use the Atlas app and website, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Atlas is run by Atlas Fitness. Our data protection officer is Bryan Agua. Contact: info@atlasfitness.me.
What we collect
Your email address and sign-in details. If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. Your profile photo, if you add one. Your setup answers (goal, training days, equipment, experience, units, reminder time). Your workouts: exercises, weights, reps, ratings, and the changes Atlas makes to your plan. Your plan (Free or AI Coach) and trial dates.
What we don’t collect
No location, contacts, health records, or other photos from your phone: the app only opens your camera or gallery when you choose to add a profile photo. We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Why we use it
To create your account, build your plan, adjust it after each workout, keep it backed up, and sync it between your phones. To run your plan and free trial. To reply when you contact us.
Who helps us
Supabase hosts our database, sign-in and file storage. Expo delivers app updates. Google provides Google sign-in. They process data only to provide these services to us.
Where it is stored
On your phone, and on our database hosted by Supabase in Tokyo, Japan. Only you can read your workouts and your profile photo. Data is sent over encrypted connections.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. When you delete your account, your data is deleted from our database and file storage straight away, and from backups within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, and object to how we use it. Delete your account any time in the app (Profile, Delete Account) or ask us at info@atlasfitness.me. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Children
Atlas is for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this notice, we update the date above and tell you in the app before the change applies.
